THE BACKSTORY OF ANNELIESE
Fifteen years ago, Zeus and Hera, the King and Queen of the Gods, conceived a child. It had been several years since last they had a child of their own. After Hera fell pregnant, the king and queen of the Gods went to the Fates to see if there were any prophecies that would be put in place for their child. They traveled to the Well of Souls in the Underworld, where the Fate Lachesis decreed for them that a son would be born of the king and queen. She stated that this would be the last born child of the Olympian Gods and that this would become the Prince of Olympus and Prince of the Gods. She decreed that he would have a birthmark on his right wrist in the shape of a crown. As the Fates had never been wrong before in any matters, Zeus and Hera believed them and began to prepare for the birth of their future son.
All of Olympus began preparing for the birth of the prophecized prince. And on the 05th of March, Queen Hera went into labor. During this time, there was a period in which the the sun and moon were conjoined as one glorious being of light. The mortals saw this as a day of worship and devotion to their new deity and the Gods of Olympus decreed that this was the symbol that the future ruler of the Gods was to be born.
The child was born, however, unlike what Lachesis had said, instead of a prince being born to the King and Queen, it was, in fact, a baby girl that was born to them. This caused some confusion amongst Zeus and Hera who had believed that they would be having another son. The baby girl had the birthmark on her wrist that the Fates said that the son would have. Thus, Zeus and Hera decided that their daughter would be granted the same privileges that would have been placed upon the prince.
The infant princess was decreed to be the Imperial Grand Princess of Olympus and the Heiress of the Gods. This meant that she would become the Queen of Mount Olympus when her parents eventually stepped down from their thrones.
She was also declared to be a goddess. Since her parents were the king and queen of Olympus, it was decided that the princess would be the Goddess of Royalty and Monarchs. This was a very powerful title and one that would have brought a lot of status to the young girl. However, while she was granted this title at birth; Zeus declared that she would have to train to use her powers properly before she could fully assume this mantle.
The princess should have had a happy and peaceful life living with her parents on Olympus. Though she was not the son that had been prophecized for them, Zeus and Hera truly believed that their daughter would have the exact same privileges that they would have given to their son. They doted upon her and in those first few hours after her birth, there could have been no child more loved in the world, neither mortal nor immortal.
However, upon seeing that she had been wrong in her prophecy, the Fate Lachesis became enraged at the fact that she had been wrong in her prophecy. She had believed that it would be a son, a prince, born to the kingdom of Olympus. The fact that Zeus and Hera still continued to honor their daughter as the princess, instead of casting her out and trying again for a son, as she believed that they would, she took um-bridge at this as she thought it was a symbol of disrespect against the Fates themselves. So, thus, she decided to take the princess away from her family.
Lachesis and her sisters formed a plan to steal the young princess away from her kingdom. Mere hours after the birth after the princess — so far that she wasn’t even named yet — the Fates managed to get into Olympus. They created a new prophecy which stated that the princess would be cast out of her kingdom and be raised on Earth amongst the mortals. The King and Queen of the Gods would search for their missing princess, but for fifteen years, they would not be able to find her.
The birthmark that was meant to symbolize the princess as the goddess she was, Lachesis transformed this into a scar upon her wrist. Mortals would not be able to see what this was, and the gods could have no interaction with the princess, nor know where she was, for the first fifteen years of her life.
The baby princess was sent to Earth where she landed in the kingdom of Arendelle. She was found by a royal guard and brought to the castle where Queen Elsa was to decide what to do with this orphan. It was believed that she would be sent to an orphanage — however, the queen took one look at the lost, scared and crying infant and felt a bond with her. Elsa picked the child up and made little ice sculptures in the air to make her stop crying. The baby stopped, and giggling, copied Elsa by having little ice crystals come out of her own fingertips. At this moment, Elsa decided to take this magical child in as her own, adopting her and naming her Anneliese, the Crown Princess of Arendelle.
Anneliese grew up as a typical princess of Arendelle. She was educated in the ways of royalty and what it would mean to be a queen, since she would be taking the throne from her mother when the time came. For the most part, she enjoyed these lessons and her title, though she sometimes would sneak away from her tutors so that she could spend time with her Aunt, Anna, with whom she also had a strong bond and relationship with.
She was a highly talented and skilled young girl who seemed to hold intelligence and wisdom beyond her years. She would often find herself practicing her fencing and self-defense, as well as her deep love for computer programming and all things technical. Anneliese was a kind-hearted, fun-loving, determined, feisty, free-spirited, pragmatic, intelligent, stubborn, peaceful and sophisticated young woman. In many ways, she seemed to take after her adoptive mother, Queen Elsa. The princess loved the people of Arendelle, and they loved her right back.
Anneliese held a strong bond with her mother. Elsa did not want to lie to her daughter so she told from a very young age that she was adopted, though she did claim that she didn’t know who the girl’s true parents were. This caused Anneliese to become curious about who her biological parents were — this becoming highlighted due to the powers that she had. For Princess Anneliese seemed to have more powers than that of her mother. Yes, she did have powers over ice, but she also had power to control fire as well as heal herself and others from injuries.
These powers seemed to cause a bit of trouble for the princess who would sometimes lose control over them. She also felt as though she never /truly/ fit in amongst the people of Arendelle. Sure, she was loved by them and her family but she always felt as though there was something missing in her life. She felt as though she belonged somewhere else. While she loved her adoptive family, she longed to find her biological parents and family. She wanted to find the answer of the scar upon her wrist. She wanted to find the answers yet no matter how hard she tried and how often she and Elsa would talk about it, it seemed that there would be no answers for her.
She had no idea that on Olympus itself, the king and queen of the Gods were completely and utterly devastated by the loss of their child and searching constantly for a way to bring her back to the kingdom and the Gods where she belonged.
Recently, Anneliese was accepted to go to Auradon High where she would be studying alongside other Auradon Kids as well as Villain Kids. She has accepted this and has traveled there in order to further her education, and hopefully, hopefully, discover who she truly is...
WRITER RULES & INFORMATION

➣ Please note that the following are a series of important rules and notes that should be taken into account when writing with me.
✘ I will not write smut whatsoever. As a 26-year-old, I am of course within the legal age to write such things, however, I do understand that others here may not be within the legal age to do so.
There is no real way for me to fully determine whether or not someone is over the age of 18 and I do not feel comfortable simply taking people on their word for this. Therefore, I will not write any kind of lewd RP; it will be faded to black and alluded to but nothing else.
✘ Discussing anything inappropriate with me will lead to an automatic block. Please take heed of this.
✘ On the subject of shipping, I prefer not to ship with anyone who is under the age of 18. Again, this doesn’t mean that I will be smutting with anyone in a ship, but simply shipping with a minor in any-case is something which makes me feel uncomfortable.
Note that this does not mean that I won’t write at all with underage writers; but please be aware that I won’t write material that could be considered too adult for them.
✘ Most of my accounts are multiship, with some exceptions. Before we ship, I will let writers know which is the case.
✘ I do not like to roleplay in the DMs. Entering into my DMs in character will lead to me ignoring you. For me, the DMs are to be used to discuss OOC and plot roleplay. Any and all actual writing will take place on the timeline.
✘ I have multiple accounts and can be busy in real life. This means that replies can take a while to come due to both life and muse. I will do my best to contact writers that I am doing SLs with to let them know. Please don’t pressure me into replying; it leads to the opposite happening.
✘ Please, please be at least semi-literate. I completely understand that English is not always a person’s first language, however, with this being said, I won’t write with people who can’t differentiate between speech and actions. If I find the reply too confusing and I’m not given much to work with; I won’t continue the SL.
✘ I don’t believe in sharing private DMs or reporting for no reason. If something happens between me and another writer, then I will speak to them privately and provided if things are resolved or not, I will block.
I will never, ever, share any private messages or slander a person on the timeline; and I would like to have the same respect shown to me. If you disagree with me or we argue, that is fine, but I believe that disagreements should be kept between those disagreeing.
✘ With that said, I will report if I feel that someone has been bullying me or harassing other writers. I don’t stand for disrespect and bullying so therefore I won’t sit by and tolerate this.
✘ I expect to be shown respect and I will show respect in return. I’d love to write with others and to come up with SLs together. Please don’t be afraid to contact me!
❧ This isn’t an exact rule, per se, but please note that I’m quite an anxious person. Being DM’ed and asked ‘can I ask you something’ tends to give me anxiety so I’d prefer people don’t do that. If you have to ask me something, please do so outright. Again, this isn’t exactly a rule but it’d be preferable.
❧ With that said, thank you to everyone for reading through these rules and notes. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you wish to RP together; again, I’d be more than happy to come up with SLs and interact with everyone.
